Just over two years ago, Boatwright did her first catalogue for youth-targeted clothing retailer Urban Outfitters. "Hip-hop photographers get pigeonholed faster than anybody," she noted in PDN’s feature on catalogue photography (see "The Mail of The Species," October 2006). The last two catalogues have been shot in New York City in a studio-type environment, but before that, they were all on location.
