'Schooled' lands at DreamWorks
June 23, 2008 DreamWorks has pre-emptively bought the original comedy pitch "Home Schooled" from screenwriters Mike Arnold and Chris Poole. Scot Armstrong, the writer of "Semi-Pro" and co-writer of several of Todd Phillips' DreamWorks comedies, will produce through his American Work label with development executive Ravi Nandan. Arnold and Poole, repped by CAA and Principato Young Management, have managed to maintain a perfect record with sales of original ideas during the past two years.
