Mitch Hurwitz laughs with CBS


September 05, 2008 "American Pie" star Jason Biggs is in final negotiations to topline the untitled hybrid project, which has received a put pilot commitment from the network and an order for six additional scripts. Sony Pictures TV, where "Arrested Development" creator Hurwitz is based, is producing with CBS Paramount Network TV, which has a deal with Biggs. The comedy revolves around adult siblings and their parents who are over-involved in one another's lives.
