January 11, 2007 Studio executives insisted Wednesday that the effect of the Hollywood writers strike hasn't hurt their movie-release plans through summer 2009. Delays in the development of new original scripted TV series programming caused by the writers strike will have little to no impact on the upfront ad-buying season, according to a new poll of media buyers by Mediaweek.
