Harrelson, Morton sign for 'Messenger'


May 06, 2008 Woody Harrelson and Samantha Morton have joined the cast of Oren Moverman's directorial debut, "The Messenger." Co-penned by Moverman and first-time scriptwriter Alessandro Camon, "The Messenger" is set to start shooting May 20 and is billed as a poignant, life-affirming road movie. Australia and New Zealand-based Omnilab (Media Group) and Bahrain-based Sherezade Films Development are bankrolling the film, and ContentFilm International is repping it at the upcoming Marche du Film in Cannes.
