Style polishes weight-loss series


May 21, 2008 Style Network has greenlighted a reality series that follows a Savannah, Ga.-based woman's struggle with severe obesity. Brittany Daniel is a consulting executive producer on the series, which stars one of her best friends, Ruby Gettinger, who weighs 500 pounds. Nine episodes (an hourlong premiere and eight half-hours) have been ordered.
