Screenwriting pals ink ABC Studios deal
August 20, 2008 Screenwriters Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten "Kiwi" Smith have sold a script to ABC Studios that treads familiar ground. The duo, repped by Paradigm, Jaret Entertainment and Warren Dern, has strung together an enviable series of feature hits: "10 Things I Hate About You," "Legally Blonde" and "Ella Enchanted," and Wednesday night they attended the premiere of their newest comedy, "The House Bunny," which opens Friday. Now, ABC Studios has their loosely autobiographical script and is developing a series around what it calls "their friendship, partnership and (mis)adventures in Hollywood."
