Overture puts 'Park' on the map


December 04, 2007 Overture Films has signed on to produce and distribute "Humboldt Park," a family dramedy starring John Leguizamo and Freddy Rodriguez. State Street Pictures ("Barbershop") and 2DS Prods. are behind the film, which focuses on a family reunion over the holidays in the Chicago neighborhood of Humboldt Park. Robert Teitel and George Tillman Jr. will produce for State Street, while Rodriguez, Rene Rigal, Reid Brody and Paul Kim will executive produce.
