Van Damme, Jones loaded for 'Weapon'


May 12, 2009 Action stars Jean Claude Van Damme and Vinnie Jones will play rival assassins who form an uneasy alliance in "Weapon," which Russell Mulcahy will direct for new production company Flagship Films. Founded by producers Alison Semenza and Todd Moyer, Flagship is aiming to begin production on the film in August in and around Vancouver, Calif. Jere Hasfater and John Fremes' Essential Entertainment is handling international sales in Cannes.
