Cuthbert, Allen to tell 'Wives' tale
August 07, 2007 Holly Wiersma and David McIlvain are producing "Six Wives," which centers on a man (Allen) whose wife and five ex-wives -- ranging in age from 25 to 55 -- fight over his will when they believe he is dead. Andie MacDowell, Paz Vega, Kelli Garner and S. Epatha Merkerson are negotiating to play the eponymous spouses. Gould, a one-time TV writer who worked with Allen on "Home Improvement," also penned "Six Wives," which is described as nonlinear in structure.
