Robin Williams, Alexie Gilmore lead 'Dad'

July 15, 2008 The two have signed to star in the indie feature "World's Greatest Dad." Williams plays Lance, a high school poetry teacher who copes with his son's death from a freak masturbation accident by faking a suicide note to spare the family shame. The note, published without his permission, ends up becoming a sensation, and Lance reignites his writing career by penning a personal journal he claims was written by his son (Daryl Sabara).
