Pair to rewrite 'Magician'

August 18, 2008 Chad Kultgen's original screenplay follows a big-time Las Vegas illusionist whose preeminence is threatened by a younger "extreme magician." Daley (Fox's "Bones") and fellow Endeavor client Goldstein also have another rewrite in development at Disney and Scott Rudin Prods., the family comedy "Hours of Fun." The pair sold their comedic spec script "The $40,000 Man" to New Line and Benderspink last year, one of several projects the studio and production company have made together ("A History of Violence") or have in development ("Torrente").
