Padalecki in for 'Friday' remake


March 21, 2008 Jared Padalecki is in final negotiations to star in the remake of "Friday the 13th" that Platinum Dunes is producing for New Line and Paramount. The remake will focus on the serial killer, who will wear his now-iconic hockey mask. Padalecki stars as Sam Winchester on the CW's "Supernatural," and his film credits include "House of Wax" and "Cry Wolf."
