Scripter goes to 'Children of Men'
January 13, 2007 The author and screenwriting team behind "Children of Men" have won the 19th annual USC Libraries Scripter Award. Screenwriters Alfonso Cuaron, Timothy J. Sexton, David Arata, Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby adapted the screenplay for the movie, which was directed by Cuaron and distributed by Universal Pictures. The Scripter, awarded annually, honors writers for achievement in adaptation among English-language films released during the previous year and based on a book, novella or short story.
