New School nabs Palahniuk's 'Haunted'


October 20, 2008 New production and management outfit New School Media has optioned Chuck Palahniuk's novel "Haunted," a tale of writers imprisoned at a retreat and forced to write about their dire predicament. The Hollywood-based New School, recently founded by ex-ICM literary agent Brian Levy, reps several of his earlier clients and has a first-look pact with film financier ArtFire Films.
