A quiet night of primetime on a summer Sunday just before July Fourth gave CBS the win in primetime with a movie and repeats of "Cold Case" and "60 Minutes."
CBS averaged 8 million viewers and a 1.9 rating/7 share in the adults 18-49 demographic in primetime Sunday, according to preliminary ratings estimates from Nielsen Media Research.
CBS had by far the most viewers of any network, although the Big Four were bunched up in the demo race with 1.4/5 for ABC, 1.5/5 for NBC and Fox, 1.6/6.
