Spanish-language broadcaster Telemundo is stepping up telenovela production in Mexico to capture the predominant U.S. Hispanic population of Mexican descent, company president Don Browne said Thursday.
Speaking at International Academy Day in Mexico City, hosted by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Browne emphasized the growing importance of Mexican flavor for U.S. Spanish-language broadcasters.
