L.A. Film Fest announces lineup


May 06, 2008 "Wanted," an adaptation of Mark Miller's graphic novel starring James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie, will kick off the fest June 19 at the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood. "Hellboy II," starring Ron Perlman, will serve as the closing-night film June 28 at the Mann Village Theatre. Among the 230 features it will present, the fest also will offer previews of such upcoming indie films as Mark Duplass' "Baghead," Werner Herzog's "Encounters at the End of the World," Claude Chabrol's "A Girl Cut in Two," James Marsh's "Man on Wire" and Jonathan Levin's "The Wackness."
