Seven bound for Swicord's 'Book Club'


October 30, 2006 Maria Bello, Emily Blunt, Kevin Zegers, Hugh Dancy, Maggie Grace, Amy Brenneman and Jimmy Smits are lining up to star in "The Jane Austen Book Club," Robin Swicord's adaptation of the Karen Joy Fowler novel. John Calley and Mockingbird Pictures' Julie Lynn are producing the ensemble drama, which Sony Pictures Classics is expected to distribute. The story revolves around a California-based group of women and one man who form a club that meets periodically to discuss Jane Austen novels.
