Dis Channel taps 3 marketing vps


May 21, 2007 Disney Channel has beefed up its marketing department by hiring Frank Keating as vp marketing and upping Ron Pomerantz to vp creative director and Veronica Davidson to vp on-air promotion, production. In his new role, Keating is responsible for all off-channel marketing initiatives for Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney, Toon Disney and Jetix brands. Keating recently oversaw off-channel marketing programs for the launches of the upcoming original movie "High School Musical 2," the sequel to the Disney Channel hit, and the new Playhouse Disney series "My Friends Tigger & Pooh," each with a comprehensive print, cable, radio, online and promotional tie-in marketing campaign.
