FIP cashes in on 'Green' pic


November 07, 2006 First Independent Pictures has acquired U.S. distribution rights for the Douglas Coupland-scripted comedy "Everything's Gone Green" and nabbed Australian/New Zealand and South African sales rights at the American Film Market. The Shoreline Entertainment comedy, directed by Paul Fox, stars Paulo Costanzo as a slacker who falls into a money-laundering scheme, leading him to great wealth and a moral dilemma. Lakeshore Records plans to release the soundtrack.
