Former 182 member sues over plane crash
November 21, 2008 Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court over the deadly Learjet crash in September that seriously burned him and fellow musician DJ AM and killed his personal assistant and bodyguard. The personal injury and wrongful death lawsuit names as defendants jet charter companies Clay Lacy Aviation, Global Exec Aviation and Inter Travel Services as well as Goodyear and plane maintenance company Bombadier Inc. Barker and Still allege negligence against the charter companies after their pilots, Capt. Sarah Lemmon and First Officer James Bland, became aware of one of more of the Learjet's tires blowing out.
