Tokyo fest goes green
May 17, 2008 The Tokyo International Film Festival is trading its traditional red carpet for a green one. At its annual Cannes party Saturday, organizers tabbed ecology as the theme for this year's event, which will introduce programming spotlights that will examine the co-existence between "man and nature." Earlier this week, the Middle East International Film Festival (Oct. 10-19) said it will be revising its programming structure to include a focus on environmental films.
