Fox rolls with Scorsese's Stones
February 07, 2007 20th Century Fox is rolling with the Stones after snapping up rights Tuesday for the U.K., Australia and New Zealand to the Martin Scorsese documentary on the Rolling Stones. The studio picked up the trio of territories after sealing a deal with international sales and financier Fortissimo Films on the eve of this year's European Film Market in Berlin. Tony Safford, senior vp and head of acquisitions and co-productions at Fox, and Michael J. Werner, co-chairman of international sales agent Fortissimo Films, announced the deal for the yet-to-be-titled project.
