SPT elevates comedy, drama heads
January 06, 2009 Sony Pictures Television's heads of comedy and drama development, Glenn Adilman and Sharon Hall, have been promoted to executive vps. The executives, promoted from the senior vp level, report to presidents of programming Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht, who called the duo "two of the top talents in the industry today." The slate includes the pilots "Eva Adams," based on the Argentinean telenovela "Lalola," for Fox; the Jada Pinkett Smith starrer "Time Heals" for TNT; the Matthew Perry-Peter Tolan comedy "The End of Steve" for Showtime; an untitled comedy for ABC starring Lauren Graham; a Valerie Bertinelli-toplined comedy for TBS; and the drama "Drop Dead Diva" for Lifetime.
