'TMZ' still in syndie zone
September 25, 2007 After two weeks in first-run syndication, entertainment mag "TMZ" still leads the pack, while talker "The Steve Wilkos Show" is maintaining its standing as the only newcomer to improve on its lead-in average. "TMZ" posted a 1.7 household rating/3 share (weighted metered market average) for all primary runs during its first two weeks on the air, according to Nielsen Media Research. The daytime talker "Wilkos" averaged a 1.1/4 for primary runs in its first two weeks, up 10% compared with the lead-in average and even with its year-ago time-period average.
