BBC head to address Berlin Media Week


August 27, 2008 BBC boss Mark Thompson will give this year's keynote speech at the Berlin Media Week confab. Thompson's speech Tuesday in Berlin will focus on new-media strategies at European public broadcasters. "The way the BBC has carried out its digital strategy is a model for public and private broadcasters worldwide," said Petra Muller, director of confab organizer Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
