Surreal life: Pacino plays Dali in biopic


January 19, 2007 The Surreal Story, Room 9 Entertainment's follow-up to its successful political satire Thank You for Smoking. Room 9 originally acquired the project as a spec written by John Salvati, based on Lauryssens' autobiographical book "Dali and I." Niccol is rewriting the script. Room 9 and NBC/Universal are developing a television series based on "Smoking."
