BBC adds radio, TV content to its iPlayer
June 25, 2008 The BBC unveiled its revamped on-demand download service the BBC iPlayer on Wednesday, integrating the pubcaster's radio and television output for the first time. The new-look platform, unveiled by BBC head of future media Erik Huggers, also will recommend other viewing choices, adding about 250 new television programs a week. The full integration with iPlayer is a natural evolution for the audio service and an exciting step for audiences.
