Bana, McAdams travel with NL's 'Wife'

April 18, 2007 Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams will be time-challenged lovers in "The Time Traveler's Wife," New Line Cinema's adaptation of the Audrey Niffenegger novel being directed by Robert Schwentke. Plan B and Nick Wechsler are producing the picture, which sees McAdams in final negotiations to star while Bana is already signed on. More a love story than a fantasy, the book tells the story of a dashing librarian (Bana) at Chicago's Newberry Library who has a gene that causes him to involuntarily time travel forward and backward.
