Universal woos Bell for comedy


March 15, 2007 Veronica Mars" star Kristen Bell has been cast as the title character in Universal Pictures' "Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Jason Segel, one of the stars of CBS' "How I Met Your Mother," wrote the script and is starring in the comedy, on which writer Nicholas Stoller is making his directorial debut. In what the filmmakers are calling a "romantic disaster movie," the story follows a man (Segel) who gets dumped by his TV sitcom star girlfriend Sarah Marshall (Bell).
