Daly will continue to host and executive produce "TRL" as well as such MTV specials as annual extravaganzas tied to spring break and New Year's Eve. [...] Daly appeared on CBS only once, to host the MTV-produced halftime show at the Super Bowl, and his shingle did not produce any projects for CBS or MTV. Earlier this year, Daly hired Jeb Brody, former head of development and production at Magnet Films, as his development vp, and they are in the early stages of discussing a series with MTV's programming team that would test music knowledge.
