Anthony Mackie, the lead in Spike Lee and Sony Pictures Classics' late July rollout "She Hate Me," is landing roles in two more upcoming films, including Clint Eastwood's boxing picture "Rope Burns" and JC Barros' indie ensemble drama "Uptown Stories." In "Rope Burns" (formerly titled "Million Dollar Baby"), which follows a determined female pugilist and her trainer, Mackie will play an up-and-coming boxer. The director has cut his teeth on a spate of Latin music videos.
