The film is the first project to head before cameras from Burnt Orange, a production unit owned by the University of Texas and advised by WMA that is designed to produce features while allowing UT students the opportunity to work alongside professionals on the set. Cuthbert stars in the project as a popular and beautiful girl in a typical middle-class family. Also receiving producer credit are Carolyn Pfeiffer, who serves as head of Burnt Orange, and Thomas Schatz, executive director of the UT Film Institute.
