The Sarah Michelle Gellar starrer packed a wallop in its UPN debut Tuesday, generating the highest demo ratings in its five-year history with its two-hour season premiere that brought Buffy back to life following her death in last season's finale on the WB Network.
"Buffy" hit its highest marks ever in adults 18-49 (3.8 rating/10 share), adults 18-34 (4.8/14) and with men 18-34 (4.5/14) and women 18-34 (5.1/13).
"Not only did they show up for it, they showed up for it in larger numbers than they ever had before," UPN president and CEO Dean Valentine said.
