Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, who is earning positive reviews for her starring turn as Glinda in the stage production of "Wicked," is headed from Broadway to the big screen. The actress will make her feature film debut with a lead role in the movie musical "Asphalt Beach" for director Peter Spears. Former top Columbia Pictures executive Michael Costigan, who is producing Ang Lee's "Brokeback Mountain" for Focus Features, is producing "Beach" from a script by Spears and T.C. Smith.
