Rawson Marshall Thurber ("Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story") is writing and directing "Mysteries," which is based on the debut novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon. Groundswell, formed by "Sideways" producer Michael London, is fully financing the film, with Arclight Films handling foreign sales. Groundswell is an equity-based financing company founded in February with a mission to create a home for filmmakers with original voices that reach broad audiences.
