"Scrubs" star Sarah Chalke is spending her summer hiatus from the NBC series filming two indie features. The actress will make her big-screen debut in the Nisha Ganatra-directed and Heather Graham starrer "Cake," from a screenplay by Tassie Cameron. The project centers on Graham's character, a free-spirited travel writer and adventurer whose phobia of relationships is tested after she accepts an offer to take over her father's business, a conservative bridal magazine called Wedding Bells.
