The film does not lack for metaphorical punch, but both the filmmaking and characters are so dramatically inert you long to take a snooze in his inviting dwelling above a babbling brook. The first glimpse of this man named Baron (Andrius Bialobzeskis), on a long, low pedal bike on a country road, drives home the fact that he is no ordinary architect. Baron shows considerable skill in crafting his home on three fir trees, using alpinist techniques and equipment.
