Buena Vista International Television has inked a multiyear program output deal with leading French broadcaster TF1 for TV and movie product coming out of the studio from next year, it was announced Monday at NATPE. The deal, announced by BVI-TV senior vp and managing director Tom Toumazis and TF1 executive vp and director of programs Guillaume de Verges , represents a major extension of an existing program supply deal between the entities. With the expiration of the M6 deal, "TF1 becomes the home of the Disney brand on television (in France)," Toumazis said.
