Writer-producer Barry Schindel has stepped down as an executive producer and showrunner of Dick Wolf's upcoming ABC drama "Dragnet" from Universal Network Television and studio-based Wolf Films. Walon Green, who recently inked a multiyear overall deal with Universal and Wolf Films to serve as a consultant on "Law & Order" and "Dragnet," will now focus entirely on "Dragnet," taking over the reins of the series as a showrunner and serving as an executive producer alongside Wolf. In another addition to the "Dragnet" producing team, Kevin Hooks has joined the updated version of the classic 1950s police drama as a co-executive producer.
