Expanding its commitment to Hispanic radio, Clear Channel has formed its first Hispanic radio network. "In the short time that we've had La Preciosa stations on the air, we've received overwhelmingly positive responses from our listeners," said Alfredo Alonso, senior vp programming for Clear Channel, which now programs Spanish formats on 28 stations in 23 markets. The format now airs on Clear Channel stations in 14 markets, six in the top 20 Hispanic markets and two in the top 10, including KSJO-FM in San Francisco, where the station is the third highest-rated radio outlet in the market.
