Game show producer-turned-scribe Jay Wolpert has been hired to adapt "Peter and the Starcatchers," the best-selling novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, which Walt Disney Feature Animation is turning into a tentpole computer-animation feature. The project will be overseen by Disney Feature Animation vp development Jonathan Treisman. Paradigm-repped Wolpert was one of the creators of "The Price Is Right" and a producer in the game show world who reinvented himself as a successful screenwriter.
