Paying more than $1 million against close to $3 million, Scott Steindorff's Stone Village Pictures has purchased the film rights to Nobel Prize-winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez's classic novel "Love in the Time of Cholera." Steindorff, who produces, will now look for a writer and director so he can package the project before submitting it to studios and financiers.
