Hodge, the Academy Award-nominated writer of "Trainspotting," will adapt the story of Will Stanton, a boy whose life is turned upside down when he learns that he is the last of a group of immortal warriors who have dedicated their lives to fighting the forces of the dark. Hodge is best known for his longtime collaboration with director Danny Boyle, beginning with "Shallow Grave" and continuing with "Trainspotting," "A Life Less Ordinary" and "The Beach." Executive vp production Alex Schwartz and director of development Evan Turner will oversee the project for Walden, while Marc Platt Prods. executives Adam Siegel and Jared LeBoff will shepherd the script for the company.
