Oscar-nominated cinematographer John Schwartzman will make his directorial debut on the pigskin movie "Carlisle School" for Walden Media.
The film tells the true story of a rag-tag team of American Indian football players, led by future sports legend and Olympic gold medalist Jim Thorpe.
WMA-repped Schwartzman, one of the town's most respected DPs, was nominated for an Oscar for his work on 2003's "Seabiscuit" and won the American Society of Cinematography's ASC Award for outstanding achievement in cinematography for the film.
