Ving Rhames joins 'Master Harold'
January 22, 2009 Ving Rhames is taking on the lead role in the big-screen adaptation of Athol Fugard's 1982 play "Master Harold ... and the Boys," a role Danny Glover originated on Broadway. The movie, shooting on location in South Africa, is being helmed by Emmy-winning director Lonny Price, who makes his feature debut with the film. South African actor Patrick Mofokeng rounds out the cast as Willie, a younger, more lighthearted waiter who is preparing for a ballroom dancing competition.
