'Gigantic' takes top prize at AFI's Dallas fest
April 03, 2009 Peter Callahan's "Against the Current" received a special jury prize. Paul Saltzman's "Prom Night in Mississippi" was the winner of the best documentary feature prize, also worth $25,000, while Gustav Hofer and Luca Ragazzi's "Suddenly Last Winter" took the special jury prize. Audience awards went to Anthony Fabian's "Skin," best narrative; John Chester's "Rock Prophecies," best documentary; and Julie Sagalowsky's "Lucy: A Period Piece," best short.
