Fox stops production on 'Amsterdam'
October 17, 2007 Production on Fox's midseason drama "New Amsterdam" has been shut down indefinitely. With seven episodes of supernatural drama in the can, the network's executives have decided to take a look and decide whether to order additional segments, something considered unlikely. "Amsterdam" stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as an immortal New York City police detective.
