Mpower developing Rwandan genocide tale


May 13, 2009 Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust, that tells of the author's return to spend Easter with her Catholic family in 1994 when the Tutsi massacre took place. The author witnessed a number of her family members killed. Also on Mpower's Cannes sales slate are the international rights to the Iranian martyrdom drama "The Stoning of Soraya M.," which focused on a journalist who uncovers a conspiracy to falsely accuse a woman of adultery and stone her to death in Khomeini's Iran.
